Newcomb VIC - Driving Directions

Northern Routes

From Tupper Lake

Take Route 30 S to Long Lake.
Take Route 28N southeast to the Newcomb VIC (on the left).

From Plattsburgh

Take the Adirondack Northway, I-87, south to Exit 29 (town of North Hudson).
After Exit 29, take a left turn on Essex County Route 84.
Take Essex County Route 84 (aka the Blue Ridge Road) west to Route 28N.
Take Route 28N to the hamlet of Newcomb.
The Newcomb VIC is on Route 28N on the opposite end of town, about one mile northwest of the Newcomb Town Hall (on the right).

From Lake Placid

Take Route 73 southeast to Route 9 in town of North Hudson.
Take Route 9 southeast to Adirondack Northway, I-87 (Exit 30).
Take the Adirondack Northway, I-87, south to Exit 29 (town of North Hudson).
After Exit 29, take a left turn on Essex County Route 84.
Take Essex County Route 84 (aka the Blue Ridge Road) west to Route 28N.
Take Route 28N to the hamlet of Newcomb.
The Newcomb VIC is on Route 28N on the opposite end of town, about one mile northwest of the Newcomb Town Hall (on the right).

Southern Routes

From Albany and Lake George

Take the Adirondack Northway, I-87, north to Exit 26 (Pottersville).
Take Route 29 north past Olmstedville to Route 28N.
Take Route 28N north past Minerva to the town of Newcomb.
The Newcomb VIC is on Route 28N on the opposite end of town, about one mile northwest of the Newcomb Town Hall (on the right).

From Blue Mountain Lake

Take Route 30 N to Long Lake. Take Route 28N southeast to the Newcomb VIC (on the left).

From North Creek

Take Route 28N N to Minerva.
Take Route 28N NW to the hamlet of Newcomb.
The Newcomb VIC is on Route 28N on the opposite end of town, about one mile NW of the Newcomb Town Hall (on the right).

Eastern Routes

From North Hudson, Adirondack Northway, I-87, Exit 29

After Exit 29, take a left turn on Essex County Route 84.
Take Essex County Route 84 (aka the Blue Ridge Road) west to Route 28N.
Take Route 28N to the hamlet of Newcomb.

Western Routes

From Long Lake

Take Route 28N southeast to the Newcomb VIC (on the left).

From Old Forge

Take Route 28 north to Inlet, Raquette Lake, and Blue Mountain Lake.
Take Route 30 north to Long Lake.
Take Route 28N southest to the Newcomb VIC (on the left).

From Watertown

Take Route 3 east to Star Lake, Cranberry Lake, and Tupper Lake.
Take Route 30 south to Long Lake.
Take Route 28N southeast to the Newcomb VIC (on the left).
