Newcomb VIC - Snowshoe Workshops

Snowshoeing is as easy as walking, yet many beginners are intimidated by the process of snowshoeing in the Adirondacks. What kind of snowshoes do I buy? Where can I snowshoe? How do I snowshoe? Environmental Educators at the Newcomb VIC can answer these questions and more during their snowshoe workshops every winter. Learn the history of snowshoes, the different varieties of snowshoes, and practice this fun and heart-healthy sport on the VIC trails along Rich Lake. Snowshoes will be provided. You'll soon learn why the Newcomb VIC is Snowshoe HQ of the Adirondacks.
