Visitor Information

The New York State Adirondack Park Agency Visitor Interpretive Centers (VICs) in Newcomb and Paul Smiths were created to introduce residents and visitors to the wonders of the 6-million-acre Adirondack Park, the East's greatest wilderness. They serve as environmental education and visitor orientation centers, complete with trail systems, visitor information services, special events, historical and environmental exhibits and a year-round schedule of public programs.
