Become a VIC Volunteer!

Volunteers are actively involved in presenting environmental education programs at the Adirondack Park Agency Visitor Interpretive Centers in Newcomb and Paul Smiths.

Some of the places they help are:

Information desk
Special events
Native Species Butterfly House
School field trip programs
VIC gardens
Environmental education library
Interpretive trail walks

No previous experience is necessary, only a love for people and the Adirondack Mountains. Training is provided in all of these areas.
